Sandra Lea Nelson, 80, of Humansville, MO passed away Tuesday, July 29, 2025. She was born January 7, 1945, to Samuel and Eva Barrett in Bakersfield, CA.

Sandra worked as a clerk at an Ace Hardware for 15 years in Auburn. She was a wonderful seamstress and loved to read. Her children and grandchildren have many fond memories of sitting and listening to her read them stories. She was a loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother, and Great Grandmother. Sandra was affectionately known to her great grandchildren as "Grandma Biscuit" because she loved making them biscuits and sneaking them sweets. She was also involved in Order of the Eastern Star and volunteered at Job's Daughters.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Michael Nelson; and her siblings, Jean Allsman, Betty Brisco, Shirley Stockman, and Beverly Tucker.

Sandra is survived by her, husband, Dan Nelson; her children, Leann Hampton and husband Mike and Billy Nelson; her grandchildren, Scott Miller and wife Jacqueline, Emily Rose Hampton, and Ty Hampton; and her great grandchildren, Rosalie and Jeremiah.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Midwest Cremation and Funeral Services of Springfield, MO.
