Roy Lee Manzella, 40, of Springfield, MO, passed away September 20, 2019. He was born August 7, 1979, in Galveston, TX.

He is survived by his daughter, Kaylee Roland; son, Dominic Manzella; mother, Renie Manzella; mother-in-law, Linda Wilson; sisters-in-law, Trisha (Ricky) Young and Eva Wilson; nephew, Malachi Young; siblings, Rick (Sissy) Manzella, Dalles, OR, Vincent (Amy) Manzella, Dalles, OR, Tina (Robert) McCracken, Dickinson Tx; Darlene Alexander, Baycliff, Tx; Bobbie (Richard) Baumeister, Hartford MI; and many beloved nieces and nephews. He is also loved by his biological family; sister, Peggy Petters; and father, Roy Lee Petters.

Roy was preceded in death by cherished grandfather, Lee Roy Petters; father, Joseph Manzella; brothers, Steven and Anthony; sister, Rachel; and wife, Erin (Wilson) Manzella.
Roy grew up playing in the water of the Gulf of Mexico in San Leon Texas. When his family moved to Michigan there was not a shortage of water. His love of the water gave him his passion of fishing. He spent every minute possible fishing. He could name just about every fish and could tell you exactly how to catch it. With the skills he learned from his dad, Joseph, and brother-in-law, Richard, he was an excellent builder. The true love of his life was his family. His wife and children were a bright and shining light in his life.
A celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
