IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Ross
Charlesworth
May 19, 1988 – April 27, 2022
Harrison Ross Charlesworth entered into eternal rest on April 27, 2022. Ross was born May 19, 1988, in Springfield, Missouri, and is survived by his birth mother, Billie Denise Stagner Charlesworth, of Clever, MO. He is also survived by his paternal grandfather, William Larry Charlesworth, of Coffeyville, KS; his father, William Raymond Charlesworth and wife, Alison of Springfield, MO; his sister, Amanda Michelle Hay and husband, Nathaniel of Springfield, MO; his beloved twin brother, Christopher Nathan Charlesworth of Willard, MO; his step-sister, Johannah Rachel Brantly Capasso and husband, Michael; and step-sister Leah Michele Brantly and partner David Emslie; and his two nephews, Noah Emmett Hay and Addison Charles Emslie; and constant friend and valued crony, cousin-uncle Mikey Michael Butcher; along with numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and countless more family and friends, all of whom loved and cherished Ross.
Ross passionately loved family; music; outdoor activities (fishing/canoeing/mountain biking);using his love, talent and mechanical abilities to help others; the arts (photography/movies); gaming and chess. He caused quite a stir on social media when he announced he was an uncle in March (nephew Noah due in early May) and he was training to ride on local bike trails during this summer season. Ross was passionate about helping others but tragically succumbed to mental illness. His wishes to become an organ/tissue donor were honored and he has helped others with the opportunity to live on.
A Celebration of Life will be held in his honor on Saturday, May 21, 2022, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Midwest Funeral, 2026 West Woodland Street, Springfield, MO 65807.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that we all check on friends/family/strangers and ask the lifesaving question "Are you OK?" not once, but until you receive an answer. Please help us to bring awareness and work towards removing the stigma of mental illness, which can bring the body harm. If you or anyone you know, love or meet is struggling to find hope and strength, please reach out and call the Suicide Prevention Hotline at 1-800-273-8255 (24/7), which is for anyone affected in any way by mental illness.
