Ronnie (Ron) Cline, 73, of Long Lane, MO, died January 13, 2025. Ronnie was born November 24, 1951, in Kansas City, Kansas. He was the son of Cecil E. Cline and Noma Cline (Bramwell).
Ronnie graduated from Washington High School in 1970. He attended classes at Kansas City, Kansas Community College and Kansas City Area Vocational Technical School.
Ronnie worked in the auto parts business for 40 years, first at Quality Parts then at NAPA. He loved working on and restoring cars, especially his 1951 Ford.
He retired to the Ozarks where he and his wife, Terri, bought a hobby farm with a fixer upper house that kept them busy. They also planted an apple orchard and built a hot rod shop.
He loved being outside working on projects or relaxing on the porch. Ronnie also enjoyed traveling to the Gulf with friends for Cruisin the Coast, and to New York City where he was excited to find that there was a Starbucks on every corner.
Ronnie was known for his love of family, sharp wit, and having the patience of Job. He was also known as a fighter who overcame many obstacles.
He is survived by his wife, Terri (Stines) Cline, of Long Lane; twin sister Connie Ring (Harvey) and sister Maryellen Banks (Jerry); sister-in-law Sandy Nelson; brother-in-law Bob Stines; nieces Shauna Estes (Clay), Bailey Stines, Mary Katherine Anderson and Jennifer Gushee; nephews Matthew Gushee, Tyler Stines, Adison Banks (Heather Nevarez), and Cody Banks (Danica McCallister); and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, Feb 2, from 3 to 5 pm, at Buffalo Family Events (next to Katrina's Flowers), 205 S Maple Street in Buffalo, MO.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the American Cancer Society.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Midwest Cremation and Funeral Services of Springfield, MO.
