Ronald Uzzell

Ronald Lee Uzzell, 69, of Strafford, Missouri, passed away on March 4, 2026. He was born on October 8, 1956, in Springfield, Missouri, to Billy Don Uzzell and Ruth Uzzell.

Ronnie attended Grant Avenue Free Will Baptist Church for many years growing up.

His father taught him to bird hunt, and both of his parents were avid fishermen. Ronnie spent many weekends growing up at Table Rock Lake, learning the art of fishing, and had a God-given talent for knowing when and where the fish were biting. As an adult, he loved to pond fish and spend time at Stockton Lake.

Ron attended Kickapoo High School, where he was a starter on the basketball team and helped Kickapoo win the Blue & Gold Tournament during his senior year.

He spent his working years at Kraft Foods while also owning and operating A Plus Lawn Care.

Ron loved spending time outdoors bird hunting and fishing. He had a big heart and loved many canine companions over the years. He made friends easily and left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him.

He is survived by his wife, Roberta Lou Uzzell, of the home; his children, Ryan Uzzell and his wife Sondra, and Rhonda Uzzell-Ybarra; his grandchildren, Tristen Uzzell, Ava Uzzell, Jocelyn Ybarra, and Javen Ybarra; his sister, Lawana Joy Uzzell Shine and her husband, Jerry Dean Shine; and his nieces and nephew, Ashley, Jerrica, and Marshall Shine.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Billy Don Uzzell and Ruth Uzzell.

He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
