Ronald "Ron" Leroy Rice, age 68, of Pierce City, Missouri passed away December 7th, 2025, after a brief illness. He was born July 15, 1957, a son of Lawrence and Lela Arnold.

Ron is preceded in death by his parents, Larry and Lela.

Ron is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Rachel (Angel), Renee (Rob); nine grandchildren: Gabriel, Ethan, Isabel, Stella, Kylea (Dalton), Devon, Brian (Ashley), Brett (Elizabeth), and Ben. He leaves behind nine great grandchildren.  Ron also leaves behind a younger brother, William Rice (Laurie); a nephew, Billy, and a niece, Nikki.

He lived in Kansas, Illinois, and Missouri. He enjoyed cooking, fishing, arrowhead hunting, and metal detecting. Ron was an animal lover and lost his companion, Dolly due to old age.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to your local animal shelter.

Ron had a great sense of humor, vast storytelling capabilities which led to new memories in his last days that will always be cherished, and a feistiness that always kept him going. He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
