Ronald Louis Polodna, son of Louis and Christine Polodna, was born November, 23, 1948 in Springfield, Missouri. He departed this life Tuesday, November 12, 2019 at the age of 70.

Ronnie attended Hillcrest High School and graduated in 1969. He worked as a corrections officer for Fordland Correctional Center until he retired in 2010.

On a blind date, Ronnie met the love of his life, Brenda Ussery in 1971.  They were united in marriage on November 24, 1972 in Springfield Missouri.

Ronnie is survived by his children and their significant others: son, Tony & Melissa Polodna; daughter, Dani & Sam Simpson; loving grandchildren Shylie, Alyssa, AJ, Zaylen, Noah, Jazmyn, Morgan and Emma; his brothers, sisters and other family including nephews, nieces, cousins and beloved friends.

Beloved husband, father, and grandfather; he is loved beyond words and missed beyond measure.

The family will have a small graveside service with military honors: Monday, November 18 at White Chapel Memorial Gardens at 11:00 A.M.
