Roger Goben Taylor, 73, passed away in his home in Springfield, MO, Tuesday afternoon August 9 th, 2016. He was born April 26 th, 1943, in Richmond, CA. He will forever be in the hearts of his family he left behind, his wife, Shari Taylor; son, Roger Taylor II; and daughter, Shonda Gordon; 3 grandchildren, Kristopher Gordon, Dylan Taylor, and Reyna Taylor; sister, Linda Swanson; niece, Tamra Christy; and nephew, Leif Swanson.

He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Ronald and Leah Taylor; and nephew, Jerin Christy.

Services to be held Tuesday, August 16 th, 2016, at 2:00pm in the National Cemetery, 1702 East Seminole Street, Springfield, MO 65804 with full military Honors.
