Burl "Roger" Perkins, 70, of Tunas, MO passed away Thursday, August 29, 2024. He was born January 1, 1954, to Burl and Joyce Perkins in Lebanon, MO.

Although born in Lebanon, Roger grew up around Tunas, MO. He was a 1971 graduate of Tunas High School. A dedicated employee, Roger worked as a Computer Numerical Control Programmer at Regal Beloit for 40 years. In his free time, he enjoyed hunting and fishing, but his true passion was gardening. Roger definitely had a green thumb, and he could often be found tending to his huge garden.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Burl and Joyce Perkins; two brothers-in-law, Ross Holliday and Don Brown; and a cousin, Carolyn McCullogh.

Roger is survived by his sons, Paul Perkins and wife Kimberly and Travis Perkins and wife Rebekah; his grandchildren, Kayeden Perkins, Awstyn Perkins, Anjelo Biggs, and Heivein Liwanag; siblings, Charles Perkins, Wilda Cotter, Glennis Holliday, Ina Stubbs and husband Edwin and Pat Brown; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A service will be held at 12:00 pm on Friday, September 13, 2024, at Kirk Chapel Cemetery.
