Rodney Bert Daniels was born on December 11, 1947, to Bert and Hazel Daniels in Webb City, MO and died on July 21, 2024, in Bolivar, MO at Parkview Nursing Home after health complications.

Raising a family and dedicating his life to the safety of others, Rodney was employed as a Police Officer for the city of Wichita, KS, then as a Safety Officer of the Wichita Airport Authority. Rodney retired after many years of service and moved back to Missouri.

Enjoying the quiet life of living in the country, Rodney and his wife, Terry, spent their time moving rocks, cutting trees and trying to make their "little piece of heaven" …heaven! He enjoyed the company of others and going to Brighton Baptist Church fulfilled that desire. Many an hour was spent there with friends, getting through tough times as well as the happy ones.

Rodney is survived by his wife, Terry; two sons, Jeff and Justin; a stepson, Gare; his grandson, Cameron; sister, Brenda; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews, and nieces.

A memorial service will be held at Brighton Baptist Church 5449 Highway K, Brighton, MO at 10 a.m.
