IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Rochele
Fortner
February 18, 1960 – January 29, 2026
Rochele Ann Fortner, 65, of Bolivar, MO passed away Thursday, January 29, 2026. She was born February 18, 1960, to Richard and Emily Fortner in Kansas City, MO.
When Rochele was younger, she loved to ride her four-wheeler. She was never scared and loved to go as fast as it could go. Rochele graduated high school from Climax Springs R-IV School in 1979. She was a gamer and enjoyed watching WWE Wrestling on tv. She loved to play board games, Mexican Train and Bingo. Uno and Pitch were two of her favorite card games. She also loved doing crafts of any kind. It was sometimes hard for her, but she wouldn't stop until she had finished the project. Rochele loved doing anything that brought her family and friends together. That togetherness meant a lot to her. Rochele brought a smile to the faces of everyone that had the pleasure of meeting her.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and her nieces, Marissa Hatmaker and Brittany Fortner.
Rochele is survived by her twin sister, Michele Hatmaker and husband Tim; her brothers, Layne Fortner and Joseph Fortner; her niece, Deborah King and husband Russell; nephew, Brent Hatmaker; and her great nieces and nephews, Maiha King, Carter King, Cara King, Jacob Hatmaker, Jason Fortner and Kerian Fortner.
