Robert Bob James Wellong, 73, of Cape Fair, MO passed into Heaven on Saturday, May 30, 2015. Bob was born in Marcus, IA, September 18, 1941, the son of John and Bertha Wellong. Bob was a retired Route Distributor and has lived in Missouri since December 2005, coming from Bullhead City, AZ. Bob was an avid golfer, bowler, fisherman, and many other talents. Bob is survived by his wife of 34 years, Ginny Wellong; daughter, Dawn Wellong of Corpus Christi, TX; two sons, John Wellong Of Corpus Christi, TX and Scott Hager and wife Deborah of Springfield, MO; two sisters, Betty York of Dallas, TX and Carrol Curtis of Evansville, IN; 5 grandchildren and one great-granddaughter. Relatives and friends are invited to Bob s Life Celebration Service at The Sanctuary of Hope, 1790 Bee Creek Road, Branson, MO on Sunday, June 14, 2015, at 5 PM with Pastor Sam Kaunley officiating. Inurnment will be Monday, June 15, at 10 AM in the Missouri Veterans Cemetery, Springfield, MO, with full Military Honors. Arrangements have been entrusted to Midwest Cremation and Funeral Services.
