Robert "Bobby" McKim III, born on February 16, 1949, passed away on May 22, 2026, in Springfield, Missouri. He spent most of his life living in Memphis, Tennessee, where he built a steady career in the HVAC industry. His work kept many homes and businesses comfortable through the years, and those who knew him remember his practical skills and dedication.
Bobby was an Army veteran who served during the Korea conflict. His time in the military was a significant part of his life, and he carried that experience with him always.
Outside of work, Bobby had some great hobbies that brought him joy. He loved collecting Hot Wheels cars and had a special fondness for 57 Chevys — classic cars that reminded him of good times and great stories.
He is survived by his siblings: Shari Jaske, Angel Kelly, Richard Hines, Scott McKim, and Bruce McKim. Bobby was also a father to three children, and uncle to many nieces and nephews.
Bobby was preceded in death by his father, Robert McKim; his mother, Willa Hines; and his stepmother, Donna McKim.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Midwest Cremation and Funeral Services of Springfield, MO.
