Robert Paul Boyd's Obituary
Robert P. Boyd passed away peacefully in his home surrounded by his family on the night of August 20th, 2018 in Springfield, Missouri.
He was born on May 30th, 1931 in Stonega, Virginia. He married Josephine Ruth Jordan on March 14th, 1953. They raised 5 kids together and have 11 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren. He had a successful automotive business of 25 years in Springfield, Missouri called Boyd's Automotive. In his spare time he enjoyed fishing and going to the casino with his youngest daughter. He will be sorely missed.
He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Ruth; and his 5 children, Susan, Michael, Tammy, Tim, and Robert.
No services are planned at this time. Arrangements have been entrusted to Midwest Cremation and Funeral Services.
