In Loving Memory of Rev. Dr. Robert Alarid
Robert was the beloved father of two sons, John Alarid and Brian Alarid. He was a devoted father, faithful friend, and servant of God whose life touched people throughout New Mexico, Missouri, and around the world. He also dearly loved his Boston Terrier, Pete, who passed away the year before and brought him much joy and companionship over the years.
Rev. Dr. Alarid earned a Doctor of Ministry degree, reflecting his lifelong commitment to theological study, pastoral leadership, and the faithful proclamation of the Gospel.
For many years, Rev. Dr. Alarid dedicated his life to ministry through World Ablaze, sharing the love of Jesus Christ with countless individuals and families. His work extended from Albuquerque, New Mexico, to the Springfield and Branson areas of Missouri and beyond. Through preaching, teaching, missions, counseling, and personal encouragement, he inspired many to deepen their faith and find hope during life’s challenges.
Following his passing, his son John was deeply moved by the overwhelming outpouring of love, prayers, and condolences received from friends, ministry partners, and people around the world whose lives had been impacted by Robert’s ministry. John shared that even during the roughest times in his life, his dad was always there for him, offering support, encouragement, and unconditional love. The response reflected the profound influence Robert had on so many people over the years, both as a minister and as a father.
Robert will be remembered for his unwavering faith, compassionate heart, wisdom, generosity, and steadfast commitment to serving others. He lived a life devoted to God and to helping those in need, leaving behind a legacy that will continue through the many lives he touched.
He is survived by his sons, John Alarid and Brian Alarid, as well as extended family members, dear friends, and a worldwide community of people blessed by his life and ministry.
While his family grieves his passing, they find comfort in knowing that Robert is now at peace in the presence of the Lord he faithfully served throughout his life.
A graveside service and celebration of life will be held in Albuquerque, New Mexico, where he will be laid to rest with family at Mount Calvary Cemetery.
