On Wednesday, July 7, 2021 Rick Helton lost his battle with Parkinson's disease at Mercy Hospital, in Springfield, Missouri.

Rick was preceded in death by his father, Granville Helton; and his mother, Lola Snow.

Rick leaves behind one daughter, Melissa Bird of Eureka, MO; two grandchildren, Mikayla and Dawson Bird, of Eureka, MO; four brothers and two sisters, Steve of Versailles, MO, Richard of Brumley, MO, Tim of Lebanon, MO, Jaime of Eldon, MO, Tammy of Iberia, MO, and Lisa of Vichy, MO; and several uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

A private family service will be held at a later date.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Midwest Cremation and Funeral Services.
