Obituary
Richard Edwin Wright, 70, of Lebanon, MO, age 70, passed away in his home October 10, 2017. He was born June 16, 1947, to Roy S. and Gladys (Randolph) Wright.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Russell and Robert; and brothers-in-law, Cal Schlicht, Bert Ginn and Rev. L.J. Elam.
He is survived by four sisters, Rosalie Elam, Evelyn Ginn, Victoria Schlicht of Lebanon and Mary Jo Wright and husband Jim of Sun City, CA; one brother, Ronnie Wright and wife Lenna of Menifee, CA, several nieces, nephews and many friends.
He was a decorated Vietnam veteran, having served his country faithfully. He professed his faith in Christ at an early age and was a member of Second Baptist Church. Rick loved his family, friends, sports, the outdoors and reading, especially the Bible. He will be remembered for his wit and recounting his adventures.
No services are planned at this time. Memorial donations maybe made to the Wounded Warrior Project in his honor. Arrangements have been entrusted to Midwest Cremation and Funeral Services, Springfield.
