Richard Eugene Glenk, 68, of Nixa, MO, passed away November 2, 2021. He was born December 20, 1952 in St. Louis, MO, to Robert and Katherine Glenk.

Richard was raised in Collinsville, IL. He grew up surrounded by a large family with siblings and cousins that were always camping, fishing, swimming, and boating together. He kept the tradition alive with his own children, nieces, and nephews. Richard and June were married June 30, 1973 and celebrated 48 years of marriage. He was the owner/operator of Glenk Construction and had a long successful career as a master carpenter. He was kind, considerate, patient, always positive, and went out of his way to help everyone. Richard was a devoted loving husband, father and grandfather. His life was devoted to family.

Richard was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Katherine Glenk.

He is survived by his wife, June Glenk; son, Jason Glenk; daughter, Devin Glenk; granddaughters, Madison Glenk, Justice Jones; and four siblings, Robert Glenk, Hal Glenk, Charlie Glenk and Linda Mallow.
