Richard "Rocky" Cecil Evans IV, the precious baby boy of Richard and Johnni Evans, was born into this world on Tuesday, June 20, 2023. He passed away Friday, July 14, 2023, surrounded by the love of his family.

He was preceded in death by his infant sister, Marie Evans; his grandfather, JJ Johnson; great grandparents, Richard Cecil Evans Sr., Lillie Marie Evans, John Ross Thompson, and Alfareta Marie Thompson; and two infant cousins.

He is survived by his parents, Richard Cecil Evans III and Johnni Renee Evans; siblings, Maggy Evans, Jaidyn Evans, and Jaxson Medders; his grandparents, Jennifer Linder, Richard Cecil Evans Jr., and Joan Evans; great grandparents, John and Janice Essary; aunts and uncles, Amber Salley and husband Kyle, John Ross Evans and Chrissi, Emily Howerton and Matt, and Natasha Evans; many cousins; and four godfathers.

Although Rocky was only with us for four short weeks the blessings, memories and love he brought to his family will last a lifetime.

Visitation will be held from 1:30 PM - 2:15 PM, with a service to follow at 2:15 PM, Sunday, July 23, 2023, at One Life Church 3245 S. Kansas Ave Springfield, MO 65807, with a time for fellowship directly after. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you bring a stuffed animal.
