Richard "Ben" Allen Benbrook, 85, of Branson, MO passed away Friday, October 13, 2023. He was born October 31, 1937, to Claude and Edna Benbrook in Hutchinson, KS.

Ben worked as a state prison guard in Kansas and Colorado for many years. He was a caring man, a devoted Catholic and loved life. He loved to travel with the love of his life, Judy. The two were together for 32 years.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Robert Benbrook; his brother-in-law, Frank Pifer; and his dear friends, Bob Wilson, Harold Stover and Kenneth Jennings.

He is survived by his partner, Judy Caviness of Branson, MO, a sister, Betty Jo Pifer of Hutchinson, KS; and several nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at Our Lady of the Lake, Branson, MO. Date and time pending.
