Ric E. McDade, 67, passed away January 5, 2022, at his home in Battlefield, MO, after a battle with cancer. Ric was born October 13, 1954, to Paul and Kathryn McDade in Tuscola, IL.

He is survived by his wife, Jenny McDade; daughter, Danika McDade; sons, Eric and Timothy McDade; three sisters, Paula, Kristy and Cheryl; as well as many grandchildren.

Ric found comfort in life in the things that he was passionate about: family, friends and racing. Many will remember Ric for his stories and conversations whether at the car lot, in the garage or in the pits. His family and friends will remember him as a stubborn man intent on accomplishing whatever he set out to do and that is one of the things we loved about him. His children would tell you though he was stern in life, he was always a caring, loving father and friend.

Christmas was Ric's favorite holiday and he always went overboard no matter what he was told. This year against the odds he made sure he was there one last time for his family.

Now Ric's journey has come to an end and he resides in heaven with his daughter, Kacee; his parents and all those that went before him.

Services will be held Friday, January 14, 2022, at 1:00pm in the Mansion at Elfindale Chapel.
