Rhonda Gail Wood, age 64, of Kansas, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully surrounded by her immediate loved ones on November 30, 2025, at Mercy Hospital, Springfield, Missouri.

Rhonda was born on October 7, 1961, in Sapulpa, Oklahoma. The oldest of three daughters born to the late Carl "Bud" Tyler and Shirley Davidson Tyler. She was a graduate of Kansas High School, class of 1979, Kansas, Oklahoma. She and Thomas Richard Wood were united in marriage on September 14, 1979, in Sapulpa, Oklahoma, and had two children. They shared more than 44 years of marriage before his passing on January 11, 2024.

Rhonda enjoyed time with family, crafting, music, and spending time outdoors, whether it be in the creek, river, gardening, or with her dogs. Her stubborn spirit and her love for her family and friends will be remembered fondly.

Rhonda was preceded in death by her daughter, Keisha Rainbow Wood, her father, Carl "Bud" Tyler, and her husband, Thomas Richard Wood.

She is survived by her son, Richard Wood, and wife, Jennifer Sontag Wood, of Gentry, Arkansas; one grandson, Azariah Wood, of Russellville, Arkansas; mother, Shirley Davidson Tyler, of Rose, Oklahoma; two sisters, Sherri Tyler Seay of Siloam Springs, Arkansas, and Carla Tyler Holloway of Rose, Oklahoma; two nephews, Johnny Seay and Tyler Seay; three nieces, Tiffany Boling Lingle, Kelsey Holloway, and Serenity Holloway.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, December 20, 2025, at 2:00 pm at Wasson Funeral Home in Siloam Springs, with Pastor Terry Wofford officiating.

Honorary Pallbearers are Azariah Wood, Johnny Seay, Doug Wood, Bobby Howlett, Tyler Seay and Blake Lingle.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Midwest Cremation and Funeral Services of Springfield, MO.
