IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Rhonda Lynn
Galloway
January 29, 1960 – January 30, 2016
Rhonda Shaw Alf Galloway was born January 29, 1960 and on January 29, 2016 she went to be with the one she truly loved the most, our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
She is survived by her husband, Daniel Galloway; daughter, Kristen Alf; son, Patrick Alf; her most beloved grandchildren, Marcus, Jackson and Alexis; her father, Larry Shaw; brothers, Chuck, David, Gary and Michael; sisters, Lorri and Tena; and nieces and nephews, Alesha, Caleb, Elijah, Jaime, Jenna, Kayley, Kelsey and Kourtney.
Rhonda was adopted in Phoenix, Arizona by Dr. Larry and Patty Shaw and taken home on February 2, 1960. Doc Shaw and Patty quickly gave her a baby brother on May 16, 1960, Chuck Shaw, and they raised their children in Buffalo, Missouri.
At a very young age she was known for her quick wit and quick mind. Growing up she lived to play basketball and softball. She was the most amazing athlete and deserved all of the notoriety she received for her athletic accomplishments. Rhonda had so many great accomplishments in life. The most important one was her children and her grandchildren. The greatest gift she gave to her children and grandchildren is the love of Jesus. She lived each day to talk to them to hear what their day was like so she could be connected. Any one and every one that knew Rhonda knew the love she had for them. There will never be another soul like Rhonda. She was the person to walk in the room and instantaneously everyone loved her. Her wit outmatched everyone. She gave true empathy and words of encouragement if she knew you were having a tough time. She was the true definition of a friend. She is blessed with an amazing family, friends that will never stop loving her, and a deep imprint on so many hearts.
A celebration of Rhonda's life will be held at 1:30 PM, on Wednesday, February 3, 2016, in the Mansion at Elfindale Chapel, 1701 S Fort, Springfield, MO. The family will receive friends from 1-1:30 pm, prior to the service.
