Rex Allen Applegate, 66, of Aldrich, MO, passed away on Wednesday, June 19, 2024. Born on April 4, 1958, to William and Helen Applegate in Springfield, MO, Rex was a beloved father, grandfather, brother, and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Rex was preceded in death by his parents, William and Helen Applegate, and his sister, Beverly Wooliver. He is survived by his loving son, Brian Applegate; his grandchildren, Cameron and Caiden Applegate; and his siblings, Vernon and Rick Applegate, Connie Clark, and Cleta Wooliver. His memory will be cherished by all who knew him.

Rex was a smart and kindhearted man who went out of his way to help others. He loved spending time with his son and grandchildren, sharing stories and laughter, and watching westerns. Known for his bricklaying skills, hard work, and compassion, Rex always offered guidance, support, and encouragement, no matter the challenges faced.
