Raymond "Ray" Joseph Svehla, 58, of Carl Junction, MO passed away Thursday, June 6, 2024. He was born February 13, 1966, to Thomas Svehla and Martha Ledsinger in Baltimore, Maryland.

Ray went to high school in Ellicott City, Maryland. He was intelligent and very handy and spent a lot of his time fixing up houses. Music was an important part of his life; Pink Floyd was his favorite. He loved to play his guitar and write music in his free time. Ray also enjoyed fishing and was a great cook. His children were big fans of his boneless fried chicken.

Ray was preceded in death by his grandfather, Vincent J. Svehla and his grandmother, Lillian M. Svehla.

He is survived by his three children, Raymond Svehla, Riley Svehla, and Kaylee Svehla; his father and stepmother, Thomas and Nancy Svehla; his mother and stepfather, Martha and Bob Ledsinger; his sisters, Robin Svehla, Renee Svehla, Barbara Ledsinger and Laura Krothapalli; his brother, Ryan Svehla; and his nieces and nephew, Reese Dorsey, Chase Dorsey, and Sarina Krothapalli.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Midwest Cremation and Funeral Services of Springfield, MO.
