Ray Lynn Hollingshad, 63, of Springfield, MO passed away Wednesday, January 7, 2026. He was born January 25, 1962, and raised by his loving parents, Jerry and Barbara Hollingshad in West Plains, MO.

Ray attended 12 years of school in the Ash Grove and Mountain Grove school districts. On August 20, 2009, he married the love of his life, Sally Kilmer. They spent 16 wonderful years together.

Ray worked in the grocery business for 37 years. He spent the last 7 years before retirement painting with Steve Hancock. In his spare time Ray enjoyed listening to music and adding to his vinyl collection.  He was also a Gideon at the North Camp. Ray loved attending church and sharing the blessings of the Lord with others.

He was preceded in death by his mother and stepfather, Barbara Ann (nee Scoggin) and Jerry Don Hollingshad; his father and stepmother, Bill and Paula Sharp; and by his grandparents, Mary Lou Scoggin (nee Cropper), Floyd and Doris Sharp, and Arthur "Bus" Truman Hollingshad and Thersa Marie (Pert) Hollingshad (nee Sharp).

He is survived by his loving wife, Sally Hollingshad of the home; his children, Zachary Ray Hollingshad, Ethan Shawn Hollingshad  and wife Lauren, and Amelia "Mia" Grace Kauffman and her husband Aron; his three stepchildren, Justin Kilmer and his wife Sara, Mandy Long and Joshua Long; his grandchildren, Sonny Hughes Kauffman and Lena and Ella Kilmer; his siblings, Melonie Bunn (nee Sharp) and husband Steve and Jo Beth Brown (nee Hollingshad) and husband Doug; and his nieces, Shelby and Ella Brown.

Ray was a kind, wonderful man and will be missed by his family and friends.

A Visitation will be held at 1:00 pm with a Celebration of Life at 2:00 pm, Saturday, January 17, 2026, at Hillside Baptist Church, 8366 W State Hwy 266, Springfield, MO 65802.
