IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Randle Earl
Clark
January 13, 1961 – August 5, 2016
Randy E. Clark was born Jan. 13, 1961, in Seattle, Wash., and died Friday, Aug. 5, 2016, after a year-long battle with cancer with his wife, Shirley Ann, by his side. He passed peacefully to the waiting arms of Jesus.
Randy's faith in the Lord was very deep. Randy loved to sing and testify in church about his love for the Lord. Before he died, he was able to touch a lot of lives by sharing the gospel and brought two young women to the Lord.
Randy loved to make people laugh. He said that laughter was the best medicine.
He was the son of the late Elmo and Elsie Clark, who lived in Bolivar.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his half-brother, Vernon Clark and Paul Cedarburg; his father-in-law, Everett E. Williams; and step-sons, Max Poulter and Jimmy Fallin.
He is survived by his wife, Shirley Fallin Clark; her daughters and their husbands, Marcelia and Jeremy Fairbanks and daughters Aiyana and Miya of Austin, Texas, and Christena and David Fennell and sons Elijah and Gabriel, all of Crestview, Fla.; Randy's daughter from a previous marriage, Brandy Clark of Springfield; two brothers, Forrest Clark of Seattle, Wash., and Wilton "Will" Clark and wife Dolly of Springfield.
Randy graduated from Bolivar High School and went on to Ozarks Technical Community College to earn a degree in auto body and paint. He was self-employed for several years before going to work at Dairy Farmers of America in Springfield where he was a lead machinist. He loved his job and the employees.
Randy and his wife, Shirley, were married July 15, 1991, and spent their 25 years together doing mission work.
A celebration of life will begin at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 13, at First Assembly of God, 1320 S. Springfield Ave., across from Southwest Baptist University. A memorial fund has been set up at Bank of Bolivar to help with purchasing a headstone.
