Randall Blaine Brinlee, 61, of Pearland, Texas, passed away peacefully on August 12, 2022, with his family by his side. Randall was born October 25, 1960, In Wichita, Kansas. The Son of R.B. & Evelyn Brinlee.
Randall enlisted in the United States Air force when he 17 years old on October 16, 1978 and served until he retired on June 30, 1995. During his time in the Air Force, he received the Air Force Achievement Medal, Air force Commendation Medal with 1 Device, Air Force longevity Service Award with 3 Devices, Air Force Training Ribbon, Air Force Overseas Short Tour Ribbon, Air Force Overseas Long Tour Ribbon with 1 Device, National Defense Service Medal, Humanitarian Service Medal, Small Arms Expert Marksmanship Ribbon with device, NCO Professional Military Education Ribbon, Joint Meritorious Unit Award with 3 Devices, Air Force Good Conduct Medal with 4 Devices, Joint Service Commendation Medal. Randall served August 2, 1990, to June 30, 1995, in support of Operation Desert Storm/Shield. During his military career, Randall went on to work as the Head of Security for the White House and served under President Regan, President Bush Sr, and President Clinton. Randall gave over 16 years of dedicated service to the U.S. Airforce and retired in the highest honor as a Technical Sergeant (E-6) in 1995.
Post his military career, Randall worked as a Catastrophe Adjuster and then for Telluride Construction Company in Houston, TX.
Randall had an adventurous personality and used his spare time to enjoy golfing, deep sea fishing, hunting, and planning a ski trip with his friends every year. Randall was a loving person
who adored spending time with his wife and their two dogs Sadie and Luna, all while enjoying an occasional cigar on the back porch to compliment his personality. He always had a house full of family and friends over to his home to enjoy spending time with those he loved. Randall loved to show off his culinary skills for family and friends using his famous Barbeque smoker as a way to bring those he loved together. He was a mentor, a friend, and had the most uplifting personality. Randall was always full of positivity and brought joy and comfort to each of our lives. Randall loved life, and even more, he loved those who were in his life.
Randall was preceded in death by his first wife Theresa Brinlee (July 15, 1964- April 10, 2008) who share a daughter Renee Keane.
Gone but not forgotten, Randall is survived in death by his wife, Tena Brinlee; parents R.B. and Evelyn Brinlee, his daughter Renee (Nick) Keane, his grandson Caleb King, his stepdaughters Heather Stolz and Shawnee (Xiomara) Sprenger, his brother James (Shelia) Brinlee and his sister
Cathy (Mike) Keller.
There will be no visitation as cremation has taken place for his homegoing. In lieu of flowers, please keep the family in your thoughts. The family would appreciate if you could share a special memory on the digital guestbook.
Randall's memorial service will be held Wednesday, August 31, 2022, at 10:00am at the Houston National Cemetery located at 10410 Veterans Memorial Dr. Houston, TX 77038.
