Obituary

Rachel Dianne Foshee, 50, of Springfield, Missouri passed away Friday, March 14, 2025. She was a daughter to Michael Foshee and Savannah Johanning in Albertville, AL. She was raised in Kansas City, Missouri by her mother Savannah Johanning along with her sister, Rebecca Foshee. She attended Center High School and graduated with honors. Rachel was her grandmother's (Louise's) favorite grandchild (everyone knew it). She loved to visit her granny's home in Alabama whenever possible. Rachel still longed for her country roots, so after finishing high school she moved to Alabama. This is when she fell in love, married, and had two children, Falyon Read and Faith Garrett. Rachel shared her love of horses with her daughter, Faith, and Falyon had her smile.

Rachel had many hobbies. She was an avid reader, of romance novels, and even wrote a historical romance herself. She graduated with an associate's degree in nursing and loved to work in labor and delivery. Rachel also loved animals, and her second career was as a dog groomer. She eventually moved back to Missouri where she met her long-term partner, Larry Revis. Rachel had an especially close bond with her mother and spent many weekends at her mother's house binge-watching shows and conversing over coffee. She shared her brother's sense of humor and her sister's love of reading. She was a fiery soul who valued family above all else. Rachel will be missed by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her father, Michael Foshee and her grandmother, Louise.

Rachel is survived by her mother, Savannah Johanning and stepfather, Donald Johanning; daughters, Falyon Read and Faith Garrett; four grandchildren; two siblings, John and Rebecca Foshee; one nephew, Chase Foshee, and two nieces, Maggie Foshee and Chloe Walker.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Midwest Cremation and Funeral Services of Springfield, Missouri.
