Phyllis Ann Hicks, 83, of Bolivar, MO passed away surrounded by her loving children, peacefully at the family farm Wednesday, January 11, 2023. She was born September 19, 1939, to Rufus and Violet Longenecker in Albion, IL.

Phyllis was a true caregiver at heart. She worked in healthcare as an LPN for many years and was a proud member of the Eastern Star. Phyllis loved to spread the Gospel and was able to travel to Brazil on a mission trip with her brother. Being able to be a part of building a church and preaching the word of God to the children there made a huge impact on her life.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Dallas; a grandson, Dustin; a granddaughter, Beth; and her nephew, Mark.

Phyllis is survived by her three children, Pam, Shari and husband Darren and Travis and wife Christine; grandchildren, Gabi, Dawson, McKenna and Christy; her brother, Reverend Gary Longenecker and wife Mary; her niece, Jill; great granddaughters, Addison and Mackenzie; and a host of family and friends.

Phyllis was dearly loved by all that knew her and will be greatly missed.
