February 18, 1946 – January 17, 2016
On the morning of January 17, 2016, Phyllis passed away at WebCo Manor in Marshfield, MO. Phyllis was 69 years old.
She was the first of twelve children born to the union of Cecil Bradshaw and Faye Taylor.
Phyllis attended Norwood Public School and later gained employment with the Zenith Corporation in Springfield, MO. While at Zenith she met her future husband, Lawrence "Larry" Engelking. They were married April 5, 1968 and celebrated their 28 th wedding anniversary shortly before his death on April 15, 1996.
Phyllis loved working in her garden, spending time with her grandchildren and her dogs, Nikki and Rascal.
Phyllis was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence Engelking and father, Cecil Bradshaw.
Phyllis is survived by her daughter, Sonya Engelking of St. Louis, MO; son, Daryle and his wife Tonya Kanoy Engelking of Marshfield, MO; cherished grandchildren, Natasha and Easton; mother, Faye Taylor Bradshaw of Norwood, MO as well as 6 brothers and 5 sisters: Lyle (Sherri) Bradshaw of Norwood, Lowell (Mickey) Bradshaw of Sheridan, WY, Glen (Darlene) Bradshaw of Norwood, Steve Bradshaw of Norwood, Ted (Cindy) Bradshaw of Norwood, Rex (Cindy) Bradshaw of Norwood, Carolyn (Jerry) Williams of Macomb, Norma (Gary) Watts of Norwood, Joan (Dwight) Collins of Mountain Grove, Joyce (Gary) Riley of Mountain Grove, and Lisa (Randy) Mings of Norwood. Phyllis is also survived by several nieces and nephews. She will be missed by her dearest friends, Norma Cunningham-Miller of Marshfield and Edgar Asher of Springfield.
Services will be held at 10 AM, Friday, January 22, 2016, in the Marshfield First Baptist Church, 1001 South White Oak, Marshfield, MO. Burial will take place at Oak Grove Cemetery in Norwood.
Memorial donations may be made to Marshfield First Baptist Church Youth Ministry.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Midwest Cremation Funeral Services, Springfield.
