April 17, 1979 – February 9, 2025
Phillip A. Farley was born in Colorado Springs, Colorado to Earl Farley and Donna Farley. He was the second of their three children. Phillip had a huge heart. He was loved by many. Phillip suffered from many maladies as a child, including dyslexia. Phillip was a tremendous athlete. He was a gifted wrestler and played on a national champion Pop Warner football team from Lewis County, WV. Phillip was a gifted musician. Phillip loved Jesus and new him as his savior and his peace. He now knows the comfort in the Psalm, "Joy cometh in the morning." His earthly suffering is done and now he is in the loving hands of his Aunt Bobbie who will take such great care of him.
Phillip was an amazing brother and son. He cared about his brothers and showed his love in so many ways. He wanted everybody around him to be safe and happy. He battled physical and mental health issues. He battled the demons of drug abuse. He never lost his passion for other humans and his desire to show his love and wish for their safety.
Phillip is preceded in death by his mother Donna. He is survived by his father Earl (stepmother Kathy), younger brother Stephen, his older brother Michael, sister-in-law Erin, and his niece and nephew Nora and Liam. He left behind many friends in Springfield that helped him through the final journey of his life.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Midwest Cremation and Funeral Services of Springfield, MO.
