Phillip Rodney Detrick, 61, Pleasant Hope, lost his courageous battle with cancer on September 25, 2013. He was born on June 30, 1952 to James and Vivian Detrick. He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his daughters, Amanda (Jason) Redman and Lisa Tucker; granddaughters, Hannah, Skyanne, Alyssa and Haylee; brother, Michael Detrick; sister, Cynthia Sloan; and several nieces and nephews. He will be greatly missed. No services are planned. Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Midwest Cremation and Funeral Services, Springfield.
