Obituary
Phillip Andrew De Vol was born in Springfield, MO to David DeVol and Anita Purvis on May 17, 1983. He passed away Friday, July 26, 2022, at the age of 39.
Phillip married his wife Jennifer in 2005 and they had two sons: Liam (age 6) and Henry (age 4). His wife and children brought joy and light to his life.
He was so intelligent and had a love for learning. He went through the Medical Lab Technician program at OTC and went on to get his Bachelor's degree to become a Medical Lab Scientist from Austin Peay University. He worked for Cox Hospitals for over 20 years and loved working in the lab.
He loved taking long walks and listening to music. He liked to educate himself on all types of subjects. But he mostly loved being with his wife and boys.
Phillip gave of himself always, making sure that his family had everything they needed and wanted. He loved making people laugh and he was good at it.
There will be a private celebration of life held at a later date.
