Peter Zachery Smith , age 43 passed away on the 22nd of August, 2018 at his home in Springfield MO. Peter is survived by his children Zachery, Donovan and Ashton Smith of Springfield MO His niece Alyx Smith of South Carolina and countless other family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his Mother and step father Dorothy and David McNurlen His father James Smith, His Brother Gregory Smith, His grandmother Shirley Welch, His grandfather Archie Ferguson, Uncles Joe and Albert Ferguson, And his grandma and grandpa Smith.

Peter was born on April 8th 1975 in Wright County Missouri to Dorothy Ferguson and James Smith. He graduated from Vatterott College On November 27th 2016 with a degree of Associates of Occupational Studies in Diesel Mechanic. After graduation he worked for CNH reman in Springfield MO.

Peter wore many hats over the years. He worked in the kitchen of many of Springfield and Branson's best restaurants. He drove a dump truck and worked on steel buildings. Lastly an accomplishment he doubted would ever happen but he made it happen. Peter went to college and obtained a degree to be a diesel mechanic. He loved his job and the people he worked with. Even though Peter was a diesel mechanic he could never put down that chef's knife. He still filled in on weekends at WF Cody's as well.

A memorial service is planned for September 23rd from 1p-3p at WF Cody's 3138 E Sunshine Springfield MO. All are welcome to come celebrate the life of Peter with his family and friends.
