Peggy Snelson, 78, of Springfield, MO, passed away March 16, 2016. She was born January 5, 1938, in Jefferson City, MO, to Lawrence and Dorothy Schell. She was the previous owner of Summit Sight and Sounds, sales and management of Stereo Buff and Car-Fi, and spent many years as an outside sales rep of many office supply companies.

Peg loved her retirement and wished she had done it sooner. She also loved her birds, game shows, and Andy Griffith.

She is survived by her significant other of 35 years, Bob Lewis; daughter, Kathy Snelson; son and daughter-in-law, Rick Snelson and Reba Brew; granddaughters, Chelsea and Christie Snelson; brother, Jim Swearingen; and her 2 beloved cats.

A celebration of Peg's life will be held at 11 AM, Saturday, March 26, 2016, in the Chapel at Elfindale Mansion. Arrangements have been entrusted to Midwest Cremation and Funeral Services, LLC.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Victory Mission of Springfield.
