Obituary

Peggy Ann Edwards was born the daughter of the late Harold W. Johnson and Mary June (Smith) Johnson, on September 17, 1942 in Mammoth Spring, Arkansas and departed this life in Springfield, Missouri at the age of 76.

She was united in marriage June 18, 1960 in Mammoth Spring, Arkansas to Glen A. Edwards.

She is survived by one daughter, Jennifer Lea Collins-Merck and husband Brian of West Plains, Missouri; three grandchildren Jesse Lee Collins and wife Brittney of West Plains, Jade Linnae Wulff and husband Adam of Bradford, Arkansas and Jaxon Lane Collins of West Plains, Missouri; five great-grandchildren, Jragen, Jagger, Jazlie, J.D. and Aizlea June; mother, Mary June Johnson, Mammoth Spring, Arkansas; two brothers, Joe Johnson and Jack Johnson of Mammoth Spring, Arkansas; three sisters, Pat Hilton, Thayer, Missouri, Shirley Jones-Garner and husband Dave and Sherrie Keylon all of Mammoth Spring, Arkansas; several nieces and nephews and several great-nieces and great-nephews, and many cousins.

She was preceded in death by her father, Harold Johnson; son-in-law, Jonathan L. Collins and nephew, Kelly Keylon.

Peggy was Co-Owner and Manager of Ray-Noble Liquor Store for many years retiring in 2012.

She was an avid golfer and enjoyed spending time with her family. She was a devoted Mother, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother, Daughter and Sister and will be greatly missed by everyone that knew her.

Services will be held at 2 PM, April 6, 2019, in the Riverside Cemetery, Mammoth Spring, Ark.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Simmons Bank in Mammoth Spring for an education fund for her great-grandchildren.
