Paul Doulas Person II, of Urbana, MO passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 30, 2022. He was born December 7, 1950, in Kansas City, MO to Paul Douglas and Irene B. Person.
Paul graduated from Kearney High School in 1967 and in 1969 he entered the military. He served in the United States Marine Corp until 1971. After his service to his country, he spent the next 40 years as a truck driver and an avid Teamsters Union member.
He spent countless hours on his motorcycle, traveling the nation and attending numerous motorcycle rallies including many trips to the grand motorcycle rally located in Sturgis, South Dakota. Paul spent the last years of his life as an active member of the Vietnam Veterans Legacy Veterans Motorcycle Club.
Paul truly enjoyed spending time in his shop, working on various projects for his family and friends.
Paul was highly dedicated to his family and friends and found great joy spending time with his numerous grandchildren. His sense of humor, sarcasm, dry wit, and candid opinions always kept his friends and family entertained.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his sisters, Lovina Ann Person and Alea Sue Person.
He is survived by his wife, Lois; his sons, Scott Douglas Person and family Laurel, Lily, Sky and Cyrus Person of Springfield, MO. and Raymond Lee Person, wife Bobbie and family Stella Person and Lille Milne of Smithville, MO; his brother, Jayson (Sherry) Person; his stepdaughter, Pete Cole (Mark) and family Mallan, Auburn, Memphis, and Ayla Cole of Milan, MO; and his niece, Amber (Mitch) Gibson.
Family and friends will gather for a private Celebration of Life at a later date.
