Obituary
Paul Gregory Post was born March 25, 1972, in Port Jefferson, NY and passed away unexpectedly Friday, May 20, 2022, at home in Nixa, MO.
Paul was preceded in death by his father, Paul S. Post on 01/08/2022 and several aunts and uncles.
Paul, as a child, loved traveling with his family and camping in Mexico when they lived in California. As an adult he worked for several years for Tulip (Solo Cup) as a production and machine operator. In July 2009 he became a father to a beautiful daughter, Patricia Post, that he loved deeply.
Paul was a devoted fiancée to Rebecca Lalley; brother to a strong-willed sister, Teresa McAnally (husband Kevan McAnally); uncle to two nieces, Anna Sears (Brady) and Baylee McAnally (Jon); and a loving and proud son to Patsy Post, whom he shared coffee and pastries with every morning since January 2022.
Paul was a strong-willed young man with weaknesses he battled daily, but never let that stop him from always being available to his loved ones and friends in times of need.
Because of his love for animals, any donations in lieu of flowers should be sent to the local Humane Society or animal shelter in Springfield, MO.
The family will receive close friends and family members at 2:00 pm May 31st at the Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, located on North National Ave, in Springfield, MO.
