Patrick "Pat" Ross Wroblewski, 31, Springfield, passed away Sunday, December 4th.

Patrick was born in St. Louis, Missouri on February 11, 1985. He moved to Springfield to attend Missouri State University in 2003 and has been a long time resident. Pat also lived in Ft. Collins, Colorado from 2012-2014. Pat was a wandering soul that did a variety of jobs, but he most recently became an apprentice as a real estate appraiser, and he was excited about starting a new chapter in his life.

Patrick was so many different things to so many different people. He was a brother, an uncle, a nephew, a friend. Pat was a sensitive and vulnerable soul. He would always do his best to reach out and help his friends and loved ones that needed it the most. He was always there for anyone that needed him. Patrick loved to make people laugh and his humor and quick wit were two of his most endearing qualities. He was curious, intelligent, and too smart for his own good.

Pat loved so many things. He loved his dog, Griffin and took him wherever he went. He loved food, and he always knew the best places to go eat: Imos, City Butcher, and Leslie's. He loved the outdoors, and he would try and convince all of his friends and family to go camping, kayaking, or backpacking even if it were less than ideal conditions. He loved, in no particular order of importance, music, movies, video games, books, fixing his car, Facebook, Dave Chappelle, NPR, HBO Original Series', being with friends, and Star Wars to name a few. He was never afraid to share his opinion on injustices in our political system and in the world.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Gary and Mary Wroblewski.

Survivors include dog, Griffin; sister, Anne; nieces Henley and Teigan; uncles, Matt and Mark; brother-in-law, Jody; cousins, John and Jennifer; and friends, an endless list of people who loved, supported, reached out to, and cared for Patrick.

A celebration and remembrance for Pat will be held at City Butcher in Springfield, Missouri on January 21, 2017 at 6 pm. Contributions in Patrick's name may be made to Lost and Found, 1555 S Glenstone Ave, Springfield, MO 65804.
