Patrick Murphy Wood, 56, of Springfield, MO passed away Monday, April 21, 2025. He was born January 7, 1969, to Kenneth and Mary Wood in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Patrick, better known as "Pat," lived a very adventurous life. As a child he loved sports, comics and being around his brothers Jason and Duane Wood. His mother, Mary, relocated them to Springfield, MO. Where Pat graduated from Central High School. Shortly after he joined the Navy. After returning home, he met his later wife, Terri. They married and had 1 son named William. Pat dedicated 17 years to working at the YMCA and building relationships with amazing people day in and day out. As he got older, you could often find him walking trails or exploring caves. He also enjoyed collecting rocks and having a very keen eye to finding fossils.

Patrick is survived by His wife, Terri Wood; son, William Wood; mother, Mary Lou Wood; brothers, Jason and Duane Wood; and 3 granddaughters, Everlyn Rose, Elaina Mae and Emberleigh LeAnne Wood.
