Springfield

Pamela Marguerite Leveritt (Beckett), age 72, passed away on Wednesday, September 2nd, 2026, peacefully in the comfort of her daughter’s home, surrounded by the family who loved her so deeply.

Born on September 26, 1953, in Modesto, California, to Tommy and Glenda Beckett, Pamela was the oldest of five children. Raised in California, she naturally stepped into a nurturing role early in life, loving her four younger siblings as if they were her very own children. This innate desire to care for others led her to a career as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). For many years, Pamela dedicated herself to nursing, and she remained fiercely passionate about serving and lifting up the people in her life until her final days.

Pamela poured her heart into everything she did. She was a joyful gardener who found peace in the earth, and she had a beautiful way of expressing her love through her kitchen, always making sure those around her were well-fed and comforted by her cooking. Her profound capacity for empathy extended far beyond her household; her heart remained continuously concerned for the local homeless community, a cause she supported with deep devotion. Above all, Pamela dedicated her life and limitless love to her family. She was their pillar of strength, an anchor in every storm, and a constant source of unconditional support.

She is survived by her three children, Bryan Miller, Alisha Miller, and Lacie Benson, and her six cherished grandchildren, Carter, Tallon, Jackson, Peyton, Adam, and Wyatt. She also leaves behind her beloved siblings, extended family, and countless friends whose lives she touched.

Pamela was reunited in death with her parents, Tommy Beckett and Glenda Cardenas; her beloved baby sister, Sherri Burton; and her late husband, Vernon Leveritt.

Details regarding a Celebration of Life will be announced by the family at a later date.

Pamela’s legacy of warmth, service, and fierce love will live on in the hearts of those she left behind. She will be deeply, profoundly, and indefinitely missed.
