Obituary

Norman Duane Dodge, 85, of Springfield, MO, passed away August 13, 2021. He was born April 25, 1936 in Perry, KS, to Ernest and Beulah Dodge.

Norman Dodge grew up on his family's farm outside of Carbondale, KS where he acquired a good work ethic and an infallible sense of direction. He wasn't a farmer by nature, so after graduating high school, he joined the U.S. Air Force and served on bases in Alaska and at Lackland AFB in Texas. He was honorably discharged after serving four years.

Norman was gifted in electronics and spent many years working in television and computer repair. After his retirement, he moved into the Lancelot ... and forged many strong friendships there. He spent his time reading, fishing with his grandkids and fixing cars and computers for family and friends.
Norman is survived by a brother, Robert Dodge, of Kansas, four daughters, Tanith Tyler of California, Susan Ford, Sandra Brake and Terri Box, all of Springfield; Grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.
