Noel Thomas Brown, 81, of Bolivar, Missouri went to be with the Lord on Saturday, June 6, 2026. He was born August 10, 1944, to William "Bob" and Katherine "Rose" Brown in San Pedro, California.
Noel was married to his beloved wife Linda Brown for 59 years. Noel worked for the Ventura County Sheriff's Department in California for 34 years before retiring and moving to Bolivar, Missouri. Once Noel retired and moved to Bolivar, he spent a lot of time with his family, friends, and was loved by all. Noel was well known for his love of Christ and served as an usher for the First Baptist Church of Bolivar and was active with their Sunday school group. His humor, quick wit and teasing demeanor which will be missed by all. Noel had several hobbies which included recreational shooting, reloading, archery, and woodworking.
He is survived by son Darrel Brown, and daughter-in-law Kerri, and grandchildren Brian, and Allyson, son Brian Brown, son Craig Brown, son Dathan Brown, and daughter-in-law Jennifer, and grandchildren Austin, Bryanna, Ashton, great grandchildren Wyatt and Presliegh.
Allow us to remember Noel by a favorite verse Psalm 23:1-6 The Lord is My Shepherd, followed by one of his favorite hymns, Old Rugged Cross.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Midwest Cremation and Funeral Services of Springfield, MO.
