SPRINGFIELD – Neal N. Breite, 73, died October 21, 2022 at his home. He was born September 28, 1949, in Ferguson, MO, the son of Norman Carl Breite and Marjorie Pearl Eastburn.
Neal graduated from Lutheran High School North in 1968. Following graduation, he attended the University of Missouri in Columbia where he graduated in 1972 with a degree in Journalism. He served as the treasurer in his fraternity, Beta Sigma Psi.
Neal worked in the industrial chemical supplies industry for over 30 years. During those years he spent most of his time at Wyandotte and Queen City Supplies.
Some of the things Neal enjoyed are fishing, playing golf, baseball, and watching sports, especially St. Louis Cardinal's baseball. Neal also enjoyed taking long drives and spending time with his loved ones.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by aunts, uncles, his niece and great- grandson. He is survived by his brother, David Breite, and his spouse, Mary, (Little Rock, AR), his Uncle Earl, Aunts Laverne and Dorothy (Bowling Green, MO), his children: Heather Boyd, Christopher Breite, Theresa Breshears and her spouse, Dale, Bethany Breite (Springfield, MO), Sarah Troup and her spouse, Allen, (Coeur d'Alene, ID), 13 grandchildren (Katelyn, Alexandra, Darren, Chelsea, Hayden, Taylor, Liam, Lyla, Trevin, Brayden, Ansley, Naleah, and Zoey), 7 great-grandchildren (Max, Miles, Ellison, Braxton, Raelyn, Uriah and Jocelyn), nephew, Jesse, and his spouse, Emily (Arden, NC), many friends, family members and loved ones.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, November 12, 2022 (2-4pm) at the Hammonds Field in the Champion Club room. Those who wish to remember Neal in a special way may make a gift in his memory to the Alzheimer's Association.
