Nathan Todd Birnley, 46, of Springfield, MO passed away Friday, December 1, 2023. He was born November 30, 1977, to Allen and Kathy Birnley. Nathan was born in Omaha, NE and was raised in Council Bluffs, IA. He graduated High School in 1996, from Malvern, IA and went on to graduate from Vatterott College in Kansas City, MO with his Associate's degree.

Nathan worked on the Magellan Pipeline for 21 years. He liked being outdoors, working with his hands and building things. He enjoyed listening to audio books and was an avid collector of comics and superhero items. He had over 10,000 items in his collection. He loved spending any free time that he had with his kids.

Nathan was preceded in death by his grandparents, Charles and Mary Ellen Chapman.

He is survived by his children, Alexis, Bella and Logan Birnley; his caregiver and mother of his children, Casi Birnley; his parents, Allen and Peggy Birnley, Kathy and Mike Lauver, and James Billups; his siblings, Wes (Pam) Billups, Gina (Ryan) Morrison, Kari (Mike) Hill, Kyle Birnley, and Rachel Birnley; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

A service will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, December 28, 2023, at Midwest Cremation and Funeral Services 2026 W. Woodland St. Springfield, MO 65802
