Nancy Claudette (Sheets) Stubbe was born on December 24, 1932, in Galesburg, Illinois. She graduated to heaven on Thursday, September 12, 2024. Nancy was the daughter of Claude and Evalena (Groves) Sheets, who preceded her in death. She began playing the piano at age 5 and spent her life as an avid musician and music appreciator. Nancy graduated from MacMurray College in Jacksonville, Illinois in 1954 with a Bachelor of Music degree. She married Richard (Dick) Stubbe on April 9, 1957, in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Nancy is a member of First & Calvary Presbyterian Church in Springfield, Missouri, where she shared her wonderful musical gifts as a long-time member of the Chancel Choir.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Dick; and her daughter, Ann Carlyle Pulley.

Nancy is survived by her grandson, John Carlyle and her granddaughter, Torey Carlyle, both of California.
