Nancy Diane Smith, 55, of Ozark, MO, passed away unexpectedly March 16, 2018. She was born August 29, 1962, in Cleveland, OH, to Emil and Nancy Walentik.

She is survived by her husband, Leonard Smith, a U.S Army Veteran; her children, Alycia Heller and her fiancé Steven, Curtis Justice Jr and Brittney Merrymen; grandchildren, Michael, Mollie and 5 others; her mother, Nancy Marie Walentik; and three siblings; and her beloved dog, Buddy aka Budweiser who bonded with her right away and led her through everything and followed her everywhere.

Nancy was preceded in death by her father, Emil S. Walentik Sr. and granddaughter, Brooke Lynn Heller.

A visitation will be held from 7-8 PM, on Wednesday, March 28, 2018, at Midwest Cremation and Funeral Services, 2026 W Woodland St, Springfield, MO. Burial of the urn will be at 1 PM, in the Missouri Veterans Cemetery on Friday, March 30.
