Nancy Jane (Hickman) Edwards passed from this life on March 9, 2016 at Cox Medical Center in Springfield, Missouri, after a brief illness.

She was born in Springfield, Missouri, on November 5 th , 1944, to Joe and Frances Hickman, formerly or Harrison Arkansas.

Nancy was a member of the Harrison High School class of 1962. It was always a highlight for her to be able to attend class reunions and catch up with her old friends.

She attended business college in Springfield and obtained her degree that would take her to a career with the city of Houston that lasted 30 years until her retirement. She always dreamed of moving back to her hometown of Harrison, which she did shortly after retirement with her husband, Lynn. She said that the Ozark mountains was where she felt most at home.

She is predeceased by her parents, Joe and Fran Hickman; her husband, Lynn; and her brother, Jody' as well as many other family members and friends.

She is survived by 3 children, Jeff Eoff of Pocahontas, Arkansas, Laura Treat (Melissa) of Hot Springs, Arkansas, and Holly Minter (Steve) of Spring, Texas; four grandchildren, Sam and Mason Treat and Zoe and Sadie Minter.

She will be cremated and service details have not been determined. Arrangements have been entrusted to Midwest Cremation and Funeral Services, LLC.
