Obituary
Monte was born Feb 15, 1961, in Florida and passed away Feb 13, 2016 in Springfield, MO with family and friends by his side.
Monte is survived by his fiancé, Tracey Phillips; and her children, Maranda and Mariah Cross, TJ and Taylor Wiseman, and Abbie Phillips; four grandchildren that loved him and adored him just as much as he did them, Zethyn, Gunner, Audreyah, and his favorite sidekick and lil Birdie, 3 year old grandaughter, Katrina, who holds a special place for her Papa; as well, as a circle of great friends.
Monte spent over 30 years as a welder, where he loved making metal signs of all sorts, especially cartoon characters. Monte's hobbies also included spending time with family and friends, he loved working on cars and going to Downstream and scratching lottery tickets. Monte was a man that would help anyone in need.
Monte made a great impression on anyone he met. He will be missed by many.

A celebration of Monte's life will be held at 9:30 am, Saturday, February 20, 2016, in the James River Church, Ozark, MO.
